Privacy Policy

DXL is operated by DXL Digital Platforms (Pvt) Ltd, a company registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, based in Karachi (“DXL”, “we”, “us”). For any privacy question or request, write to info@dxl.global.

When you register interest on this website: your name, email address, phone number, the programme you are interested in, any message you write, and how you found us (for example the campaign link you followed).

When you use the DXL app:

• Account details: your name and email address, and your sign in credentials (passwords are stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider).
• Learning activity: lessons completed, certificates earned and events you register for.
• Community content: posts, replies, reactions and reports you make, and moderation decisions about them.
• Device information needed to run the app: device type, operating system, app version and, if you allow it, a notification token so we can send you announcements.
• If you use Face ID, Touch ID or a fingerprint to unlock the app, that check happens on your device. We never receive your biometric data.

When you enrol: the details on your offer letter and receipts, such as your CNIC number and payments made. These are kept in our internal records, not in the app.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or microphone. We do not ask for or store bank card numbers in the app.

• To reply to your enquiry, arrange your visit and process your application.
• To create and secure your account, approve membership and give you access to course content, market notes, events and the community.
• To run the community safely: moderating content, acting on reports and preventing abuse.
• To send service messages and announcements you can switch off in your device settings.
• To keep records of enrolment and payments that the law requires us to keep.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the site and app are used so we can improve them.

We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal effects on you, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

We share information only with service providers who help us run DXL, such as cloud hosting, database, authentication and email delivery providers, under agreements that let them use it only on our instructions. Some of these providers store data on servers outside Pakistan. We also share details with our academic partner where needed for certification, and with authorities where the law requires it.

Interest form enquiries are kept for up to two years after our last contact with you unless you enrol. App account data is kept while your account is open. When you delete your account we delete or anonymise your profile and community content within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as enrolment and payment records.

• Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
• Delete your app account at any time from Profile in the app, or by emailing us.
• Ask us to delete your enquiry details.
• Turn off notifications in your device settings.

Send any request to info@dxl.global. We reply within 15 working days.

Information is encrypted in transit, access to it is limited to staff who need it, and staff actions in the app are recorded in an audit log. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you without undue delay.

Our programmes and the DXL app are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell app users in the app when a change is significant.
